Sharon Kay Sharp, age 77, died in the home of her daughter, Tina, on July 22, 2021.

Sharon graduated from Collinsville High School in Collinsville, IL, then working with the Federal government, Department of Army, AVSCOM where she eventually retired. Ms. Sharp moved to Huntsville, AL to help care for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. Sharon had a hard life, suffering many medical issues that included, severe asthma and COPD. Sharon was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan, she loved to embroidery, but most of all, Sharon loved and lived for her family. Sharon became a Christian and looked forward to seeing her Lord.

Sharon is survived by her children, daughters; Tina White of Huntsville, AL and Rebecca Jones of Fayetteville, TN; son; Kenneth Sharp of Bloomington, IL; and grandchildren; Sean Mattingly, James Mattingly, Justin Sharp, Katelynn Sharp, Nicholas Sharp, and Paige Jones; sister; Renee’ Perotti of Madison, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James A. and Darlene Perotti; brothers; Kevin Perotti and James M. Perotti.

At the request of Ms. Sharp, she will have a direct cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Comfort Care Hospice in honor of Ms. Sharp.
