Sharon Kay Lewis, 67, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Sharon was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1958, to the late Mr. Joe Walter Summers and the late Mrs. Annie Sue Tipton Summers.
She was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore Community, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished mawmaw, and dear sister. In her free time, Sharon enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching her soap operas, and taking great care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Curtis Summers, three sisters: Wanda Barron, Margaret Rolin, and Nancy Dodd, as well as one grandson, Michael Swanner.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mac Lewis, three daughters: Jennifer Lewis, Janet (Joseph) Swanner, and Janna (Sean) Lewis, two sisters, Joyce Tipton and Sara Campbell, six grandchildren: Haley (John) Woodard, Brianna Swanner, Nicholas Swanner, Tyler Swanner, Ashley Swanner, and Matthew (Mackina) Lewis, as well as three great grandchildren: Chevy Woodard, Annie Woodard, and Brinley Sanders.
The family has made plans to have a private memorial service at a later date.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
