Funeral services, with Covid-19 restrictions including social distancing and masks recommended, for Mrs. Sharon Kay Evans, age 64, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Kemper officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Mrs. Evans, a hairdresser and member of Smyrna Baptist Church, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Joe Evans of Humboldt; two sons, Lawson Scott Evans, wife Regina, and Joseph Hayden Evans, wife Renada, both of Humboldt; two sisters, Gloria Hammonds, husband Harold, and Jerre Rainwater, husband Jimmy, both of Humboldt; three brothers, Barry Combs, wife Jo Ann, of Brazil, Larry Combs of Trenton and Randy Combs, wife Cynthia, of Humboldt; and a grandson, Gage Gunner Evans.
