Sharon J. Penny of Huntsville, passed away peacefully on Friday. God blessed others through Sharon for 57 years. She brought joy into the lives of those around her and had a positive, sweet spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. Penny & Artie Mae Penny; Her uncle and aunt, Johnie & JoAnn Lyle.
Surviving family members include her brothers: James D. Penny Sr (Mona), William E. Penny (Sara), Larry D. Penny (Delene), and Roger A. Penny (Rebecca); Her aunt, Dorothy Nell Lyle; Her nieces, Pamela White and Selena Boyett; Her nephews: James D. Penny Jr, Scott L. Penny, Kevin D. Penny, Jere W. Penny, Roger A. “Tony” Penny Jr, and Brian A. Penny.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am to 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Bishop Harold St.Clair officiating. Burial will then be in Taylor Cemetery.
