Sharon “Granny” Grose, 76, longtime resident of Etta, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family.

Funeral services honoring the life of Ms. Grose will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funerals and Cremation Care with Bro. Donnie Williams officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11AM until time of service.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Born April 23, 1947, in Panola County, Ms. Grose was the daughter of the late Dewitt and Lottie Gandy Bolen.  She received her education from the West Union Public School System and was a valued employee of K&L Frames for 15 years.

A Christian, Ms. Grose will be remembered for being a hard worker, her giving and caring heart, enjoying big Christmases with her family, dancing in the kitchen with her granddaughter Sasha, and being brutally honest about how things that needed to be done, which was always “her” way.  Her favorite past times include working puzzles, reading, sharing time with family and friends, and taking care of others every chance she got.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories include three daughters, Karen Foreman, Connie Foreman (Steven), and Windy Burris (James Gullick), twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and her special canine “Dot”.  Preceding her in death includes her parents, one son, Marvin Grose, one grandson, Bobby Gene Foreman, two brothers, Quay and Randy Bolen, and grandparents, Hettie Gandy, William Gandy, Cordus and Lottie Bolen.

New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care invites you to share memories with the Grose family.
