Sharon Elizabeth Garey McWhorter, age 75, of Mayfield, Kentucky, died Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was born October 1, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Tom Martin Garey and Mary Emmons Garey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy McWhorter; three sisters, Dianne Eables, Patty Musselwhite, and Donna Garey.
She is survived by one sister Joyce Garey Adkison of West Memphis, AR; one brother Tommy (Kathey) Garey of Blytheville, AR; niece Angie Musselwhite of Marion, AR; two nephews, T. J. Musselwhite of West Memphis, AR, and Thomas Garey of Blytheville, AR; four great nieces, one great nephew, and one great great nephew.
A memorial service will be conducted at the West Memphis Church of God at a later date.
