Sharon Eileen Ford, a cherished member of the Martling community, passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on April 12, 1938, to the late Floyd and Della Johnson.
Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, J.W. Ford. Together, they built a life filled with countless memories and shared joys. She is also survived by her son, Jay Ford (Christian) and daughter, Wendy Walters, her grandchildren, Lexi Grace Ford, Emma Caroline Ford, Olivia Kate Ford, and Kyle Walters, were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Vick Johnson (Barbara).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Johnson, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.
A funeral service to celebrate of Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Adams Brown Service Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends starting at 11:00 am with Bro. Michael Ford will be officiating services.
As Sharon is laid to rest at Asbury Cemetery, she will be escorted by pallbearers who were honored to assist her on her final journey: Kyle Walters, Lexi Grace Ford, Emma Caroline Ford, Olivia Kate Ford, Mary Loftis, and Audrey Sullivan.
Sharon Eileen Ford will forever be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
