Sharon Denise Morris, age 64 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at her residence.
She graduated from Oakman High School and Bevill State. She pursued a career in nursing until her passing, where she loved and cared for her patients and residents daily. She especially loved her HarborChase residents and employees as they were like family. She loved her kids and grandkids and you would find her as their #1 fan cheering them on. She will be extremely missed, as she was loved by everyone.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Boldo Cemetery. Sonny Hall will officiate.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her Father-George Payne; Mother-Doris Payne; Brother-John A. Payne (Barbara); Stepson-Christopher Morris; Grandparents-John O. and Martha Payne, William and Leona McDonald.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years-Arnold Morris; Daughter-Melanie Morris Brown (Heath); Sons-David Payne and Chris Payne; Sister-Doris Tubbs (Pete); Brothers-Doyle Payne (Beth) and Donald Payne; Grandchildren-Jackson Payne (Jenna), Ethan Payne, Makennah McGuff, Samarah Brown and Owen Brown; Great Grandchild-Avery Payne; Host of nieces and nephews.
