Shape Corp. to Host June 26 Event, Opening Second Location in Alabama

HUNTSVILLE – Shape Corp., a global tier-1 supplier of automotive components, specializing
in innovative designs, testing, and processing of metal and plastic systems, will host a
celebration on Wednesday, June 26 to officially open its second location in Alabama.
The facility is located at 5332 Endeavor Way in Southpoint Industrial Park. The event will begin
at 10 a.m.
Scheduled speakers include Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, Limestone County Commission
Chairman Collin Daly, Alabama Department of Commerce Deputy Secretary Angela Till, and
Mark White, President and CEO of Shape Corp.
At this new location, the company will produce lightweight aluminum and steel crash
management and structural components for automobiles to maximize their performance.
Shape Corp., headquartered in Grand Haven, Michigan, is celebrating its 50 th anniversary in
business this year and employs 4,200 people at 14 manufacturing plants and five tech centers
worldwide. This new facility in Huntsville is its second Alabama location. The other is on Roy
Long Road in Athens. The Athens location will remain in operation and will specialize in plastic
injection molding.
