Shannon Whitfield Weeks, age 43, Hamilton, AL., passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born June 15, 1972, to Diane Cochran and Gary Whitfield in Florence AL. The visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 12-2 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home with service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Sam Morgan officiating. Burial in Love Joy Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Whitfield, grandfather Bluford Whitfield. She leaves to cherish her memory, parents, Diane and Elvis Cochran brother, Shane Whitfield (wife, Mechele); grandparents, Richard and Lillie Abbott, Bertha Thorpe; and host of relatives and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
