Shanna Thornton Smith, 37, of Anderson passed away Saturday, December 31st, 2016.
She a 1998 graduate of Lauderdale County High School and a CNP worker at Lauderdale County High School for over 10 years. She was a member and baptized at First Baptist Church of Anderson and was an avid fan of her son’s basketball games.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5th, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 6th at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Anderson. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Shanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Thornton and Denny & Edith Thornton; father-in-law, Bobby Ray Smith. She is survived by her husband, Jason Ray Smith; sons, who were her life, Connor Ray Smith and Carson Romine Smith; father, D.C. Thornton; mother, Lisa Thornton; sisters, Chastity Ritter (Brian) Springer, Tammy Miller, Laura Newton and Nena Thornton; brothers, Tony Thornton, Chris Thornton and Curtis Thornton; grandmother, Annette Romine Harris; mother-in-law, Geraldine Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Anderson First Baptist Church.
