scholars-for-dollarsFLORENCE-The Shoals Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting event for Secure Shredding, owned by Susan and Roddie Stewart.

Now a little about Secure Shredding by Secure Shredding:

“Secure Shredding, located at 118 E. Mobile Street, Suite 103, began in January 2016 with the goal of meeting the shredding needs of those who don’t need a contract, or have one-time shredding needs when cleaning out records. Susan and Roddie Stewart want to provide small businesses and individuals with specialized, personal service.
There’s no minimum and no contract — just a flat per pound charge of 75 cents. Drop off and pickup services are offered for your convenience. Susan and Roddie pride themselves in going the extra mile, being available when needed, and being green. All of the shredding and any other paper that is not confidential, such as boxes, are recycled.
All business is done by appointment only. Generally, they pick up or meet people at the office within a two-hour window.
Susan and Roddie Stewart grew up in Florence and have lived here most of their lives. Both have worked in occupations that required bonding or security clearances in banking, insurance, the military, and TVA power production. They are excited about their first small business venture and encourage you to call and set up a time to clear out your paper clutter!”

The Shoals Chamber was on hand to capture the event in photos and we present them to you here:
