Second Fisherman Found; Both Have Been Identified From The Saturday Night Boating Accident On Pickwick Lake

SHEFFIELD-On Monday, August 18 the second fisherman was found after the collision on Saturday night with a barge on Pickwick lake near Sheffield.

The first missing fisherman was found dead on Sunday and the second was found dead on Monday.

Crews were out on the lake Saturday night, Sunday, and resumed Monday morning until the second body was found.

Officials later identified the bodies as friends who fished together, 63-year-old William Michael Sandlin and 66-year-old Edison Kim Wallace.

Several agencies were helping with the investigation and search for the fishermen, including the ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division and the ALEA Aviation Division.
