Scottie Wayne Forsythe, age 64, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Highland Park Church of Christ.
Scottie was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired with Sunbeam Heating and Air in Columbus, Georgia.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Edward and Ruth Forsythe; and grandmother, Louise Grissom.
Survivors are his wife, Donna Forsythe; children, David Forsythe (Carol), Danny Forsythe, Tammy Marsh (Kellie), Joey Forsythe, Matt Bell (Sheryl), and Brent Bell (Jadon); siblings, Kathy Valentine, Denise Nelson, Sherry Roberson, Melissa Roberson, and Kevin Smith; 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; aunts, Frances May (Ernest) and Ethel Wode (Bob); uncle, Tommy Grissom (Carolyn).
