A celebration of life for Scottie Bass, 53 of Corinth, MS is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home – South with interment to follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Bro. Floyd Lamb and Bro. Trent Nethery will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Pallbearers include Rexton Dixon, Brad Moss, Travis Porterfield, Van Wilbanks, Franky Jackson, and Shawn Mullins. Scott Singleton and Wayne Dixon will serve as honorary pallbearers. Scottie was born on September 11, 1972, in Memphis, Tennessee, and entered into rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Walnut, Mississippi. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. For more than 20 years, Scottie worked faithfully at Bass Sawmill before continuing his career at Abby Manufacturing, where he served as a respected team leader. Beyond his work, he found joy in riding horses, fishing, and tinkering with his vehicles. Scottie was known for his generous spirit—always ready to lend a hand to a friend. He had a fondness for Mountain Dew and cherished the moments spent watching his sons play football, a source of great pride and happiness. Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Will Bass and wife Kaylee, and Colton Bass; parents, William Rufus “Butch” and Brenda Bass; brother, Rodney Bass; sister, Kim Bass Seals; niece, Sarah Seals; other relatives and a host of friends.
