Scott Noel Benford, age 58, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama passed away July 9, 2025.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Jason Vinson officiating. Burial will be at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in the Pebble Community.
Scott was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. During football season, you could usually find Scott at Alabama football games, and if he wasn’t able to attend the games in person, you could be certain he was watching them.
Scott is survived by his wife, Valerie Benford; mother, Betty Benford; children, Trevor Blake Benford, Tessa Benford, Tanner Bozeman, and Mollie Melton; sister, Sallie Ann Benford; grandson, Jordan Benford; as well as host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Benford; and his brother, Allen Benford.
