Scott Jeffrey McDermott, 58, of Madison, passed away Thursday. Born in Hartford, CT, Scott was a real estate agent for over 30 years. A majority of those years, he worked alongside his good friend, Roy Claytor, until his passing four years ago.
Scott is survived by his sister, Karen McDermott of Huntsville; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Terri McDermott; niece, Kathleen Klostermann; nephew, Ryan McDermott, all of Colorado; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his best friend and caretaker, C.E. Lee; and his beloved canine companion, Gabbie. He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Marilyn McDermott.
Private services will be held at a later date.
