School Closings and Delays Due to Extreme Winter Weather for January 30

cold weatherTENNESSEE VALLEY– Due to the extreme cold we are experiencing here in the Tennessee Valley there will be more delays and school closing for Thursday January 30.  We have a list here.  If you know of a school that is opening late or not at all please email us quadcitiesdaily@gmail.com.

Boaz City Schools – closed Thursday.

Blount County Schools – Closed  Thursday.

Cherokee County Schools – Closed Thursday.

Cornerstone Christian – Closed Thursday.

Cullman City Schools-Closed Wednesday a 2 hour delay Thursday.

Cullman County Schools- Closed Wednesday a 2 hour delay Thursday.

DeKalb County Schools – Closed Thursday.

Etowah County Schools- Closed Thursday.

Fort Payne City Schools – Delayed three hours Thursday.

Gadsden State Community College-Closed  Thursday.

Jackson County Schools – Closed Thursday.

Lawrence County (AL) Schools – Delayed two hours Thursday.

Marshall Christian School – Delayed until 10 am, students are tardy at 10:30 am.  No early morning care available.

Marshall County Schools – delayed 3 hours Thursday.

Morgan County Schools – Delayed two hours Thursday.

Mountainview Christian Academy – Closed Thursday

Northeast Alabama Community College, Rainsville – Delayed until 11 a.m. Thursday.

Scottsboro City Schools-Delayed 2 hours Thursday.

Wallace State Community College-Classes canceled Thursday, offices open Noon.
