Scam Alert For Seniors In Limestone County And Surrounding Area

LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Limestone County Senior Center has issued a Scam Alert for seniors in the area:

“LCSO has confirmed with the Limestone Senior Center that scammers are contacting senior citizens in the county and pretending to be representatives of the Senior Center/Council on Aging. These subjects are asking their victims personal survey-like questions and attempting to “sell” them various types of insurance. The Limestone County Senior Center/Council on Aging is NOT associated with these callers. PLEASE do not give any information to anyone calling you with these questions and pretending to be from the Council on Aging.”
