CULLMAN-The Cullman Police Department has asked for the help from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency to investigate an officer-involved shooting:
“Special Agents with ALEA’s State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) are investigating a Cullman Police Department officer-involved shooting at the request of the Cullman Police Department.
The shooting occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in the Cullman city limits. The subject, who was reportedly armed with a firearm, was transported to Huntsville Hospital via life flight with an apparent gunshot wound.
Once the investigation is complete, the findings will be turned over to the Cullman County District Attorney.
Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing.”
