Say Thanks to a Veteran …….

TUSCUMBIA-The American Legion Colbert County Memorial Post 31 is sponsoring a Veteran’s Day Parade and Veteran’s Day Program

on Monday, November 11^th at 11:00 a.m. in Tuscumbia.  The parade will begin in front of Deshler High School at 11:00 a.m. and the program will be held immediately following the parade on the front lawn of the Colbert County Courthouse.  In case of bad weather the program will be held at the Post meeting Hall on Main St. in Tuscumbia. Military and patriotic organizations, antique car owners, twirling groups, local officials.

The Grand Marshal of the parade is U.S. Army veteran, Richard Sheridan.  Special music will be provided by Blaine Cantrell.  The speaker for the Veteran’s Day Program is Lt. Colonel (retired, U.S. Army) Paul Hoekenga.
