Sarah Ruth Chaffin, age 83, of Nauvoo, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. She was a member of Lupton Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Bro. Dave Saxton will officiate.
Mrs. Chaffin was preceded in death by her Parents-Johnny and Virgie Burton; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law-Cleve and Mary Chaffin; Brother-Jack Burton.
She is survived by her Husband-Glenn C. Chaffin; Daughters-Margaret Scurlock (David) and Phyllis Uptain (Dennis); Sisters-Marie Kimbrell, Barbara Rollo and Patricia Phillips; Special Friend-Larry Swindle; Granddaughter-Nikki Higginbotham (R.J); Great Grandchildren-Henslee Higginbotham, Roman Higginbotham, Adrun Higginbotham, Lucas Higginbotham and Lauren Higginbotham.
