Sarah Marks-Foote was known as a loving wife, mother, and sister. She went to be with her Lord after a struggle with cancer at the age of 72 years on March 2,2018.
Sarah was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on June 20th, 1945. She was the third child, and the first daughter of Shelley and Nellie Collier. She was a life-long member of Huntsville Park Baptist Church.
Sarah will be forever remembered by her husband HD Foote; her children, Randy (Tammy) Marks, Allen (Susan) Marks and Melinda (Roger) Moore, her step-children Scott (Pam) Foote and Rhonda Thomas, her brother Kenneth Collier, and her sisters-in-law Joanna and Donna Collier. Sarah will also be forever remembered by her seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelley and Nellie Collier, her parent in-laws, William and Ruby Foote, and her brothers Shelley Ray (Joanna) Collier, Richard (Donna) Collier, sister-in law Dottie (Kenneth) Collier, and son in-law Roger (Melinda) Moore.
Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service in memory of Sarah will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home, Huntsville, Alabama with Rev. Mylon Metcalf officiating. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Sarah to Huntsville Park Baptist Church, 3120 Triana Blvd., Huntsville, AL 35805.
