Sarah Margaret Anthony, age 68, of Olmstead, KY, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday, May 29th, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Ed Baumgarten officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Evan Anderson, Andrew Thompson, Jason Baggett, Bobby Chambers, John “Bubba” Anthony and Jamie Anthony serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Anderson, Jackie Baggett, Timmy Allen, Tracen Baggett, Ed Anderson, Paul Teasley, Alan Teasley, Beau Baggett, Austin Hanson, Mike Hanson, Walt Anthony, Phil Anthony, Wayne Gower, Lance Tanner, Anthony Stokes and Anthony Jessup.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday, May 28th and again from 10-11am Friday, May 29th, at the funeral home.
Miss. Anthony was born February 11, 1958, in Springfield, to the late Eugene Cornelius Anthony, Jr. and the late Margaret Ella Wells Anthony. She graduated from Olmstead High School and was of the Baptist faith. Miss. Anthony was a homemaker and farmer most of her life.
She is survived by 2 God Daughters, Amanda (Anthony) Stokes and Natalie (Anthony) Jessup; and cousins, Jimmy Anthony, Patsy Morris, Kelvin Fuqua, Jean Lawrence, John Paul Anthony and Walter Henry Anthony.
