Sarah Louise Sides, age 88, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, due to an illness. She is now dwelling in the house of the Lord where she is reunited with her mother, Lillian Johns and father, Robert Faulkner, and brothers J.W. Faulkner (Mary) and Larry Faulkner.
A native of Alabama, Sarah was born on June 2, 1933, and moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church in Arab, AL.
Her memories will be cherished by her family; daughter, Teresa Belyea (Bruce) of Huntsville, AL; son, Richard Sides (Jamie) of Arab, AL; daughter Regina Abell (John) of Toney, AL; sisters, Jeanette Pitts, Eunice Jenkins, Judy Frost (David), and Gwen Hughston (Stanley), and brother Bobby Faulkner; grandchildren, Brooke Sahin (Bogachan), Bridgett Walker (Robert), Britt Belyea, Bradley Sides (Sommai), Adam Sides, Sarah Sowards (Jordon); great-grandchildren, Atesh Sahin, Deniz Sahin, Addison Sides, Tanner Sides, Brad Lee Sides, Aubrie Sowards; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.
A graveside Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 2:00 with the Rev Tony Fleming officiating. Flowers may be sent to the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, 1340 North Main Street, Arab, AL 35016.
