Our dear Mother went home to Glory this morning. We are rejoicing she is whole again and in the arms of Jesus. She lived a life serving our Lord, teaching her children to walk with Him. Her service didn’t stop there; she cared for our developmentally-disabled brother and sister. She was involved in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Church Bible Drills, visitation (even at 20 degree weather) in Indiana. She volunteered at Mary Margaret Health in Batesville. She worked teaching people how to make countless baskets in Tennessee, Bell Buckle and Indiana. She brought so many covered-dishes to the potlucks at church – well she had to with 6 kids LOL. She taught us all so much. We are forever grateful for the Mom we had. We love you, Mom.

Mrs. Turner died on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at NHC Healthcare.  She was born  April 22, 1927, in Union County, Ohio, to Walter Garfield Beltz and Mary Elizabeth Andrews Beltz.  She was employed as a Sales Clerk for Sears Roebuck Company, prior to her retirement.

Imogene was blessed with a loving family. She raised her children in the Knowledge of the Lord and patriotism for this country through being an Army wife stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C. and Ft. Campbell, Ky. She was active in church until her failing health prevented that. She was a Bible Drill Leader at Providence Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN. She was active as a Bible Drill Leader, in Sunday School and visitation at Batesville Baptist Church in Batesville, IN. She was active in Mission work at Calvary Baptist Church in Scottsboro, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William F. Turner, brothers: Walter and Harvey Beltz, Sisters: Dorothy Ghenco and Emma Miller.
