Sarah Hughes McWilliams – Obituary

Sarah Hughes McWilliams, age 88, of Cherokee, AL, died at her residence on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Mrs. McWilliams was preceded in death by parents, Pleasant M. Hughes and Eliza Hughes; brothers, T.M. Hughes and George Hughes; and sister Martha Bell.

Survivors include husband, James W. McWilliams; son, Paul McWilliams; daughters, Linda Willingham and Catherine Dorobantu; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 20, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The family will hold a private interment service on Tuesday, October 21.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Cherokee Public Library.
