Sarah Faye Otts, age 78, of Warrior, AL, wife of Larry Otts, formerly of Sulligent, AL passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at UAB in Gardendale, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora, with burial to follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Warrior, AL. Bro. Wayne Ferguson to officiate. Visitation will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Sarah was born on August 19, 1941 in Bradford, AL to the late Lester Lloyd Davis and the late Ethel Marie Ferguson. She was a 1959 graduate of Corner High School and later graduated from Wallace State College in Hanceville, AL. Sarah retired from Jefferson County Board of Education. She was very active in her church VBS and Hospitality Committee. Sarah was a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed sewing, camping, raising day lilies and irises, horseback riding, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
