Sarah Comer of Rogersville died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her residence at the age of 93.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 – 3 at Rogersville United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow immediately with Robert Lancaster officiating. Her son, David will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Jerry Phillips, Kevin Garner, Jay Weathers, Parker Garner, Holden Weathers, Slade Brown and Michael Brown.
Mrs. Comer was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Mary Ann James; husband, Johnnie H. Comer; seven brothers; two sisters and a great-grandson. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Jerry) Garner, Sherry (Jerry) Weathers and David (Linda) Comer; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Rogersville United Methodist Church Building Fund or to First Baptist Church Killen Building Fund.
