Sarah Cleo Miller Taylor, age 95 of Huntsville, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born May 5, 1923 to Albert Larkin and Nannie Olive Spelce Miller in Madison County. She married Malcom Irl Taylor on January 1, 1947 and was a lifelong resident of the Ryland community.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters, Joyce Chappell and husband Benny and Carol Turner and husband Billy; grandchildren: Valoree Watkins and husband Greg, Vanessa Goff and husband Steven
and Orry Turner and wife Lindsay; great grandchildren: Kayleigh & Cranston Watkins, Justin, Kacey & Anna Goff, Logan Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband after 66 years of marriage, parents, sister Myrtle Parton and brothers William and Walter Miller.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at Shiloh United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Sam Pierce officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Orry Turner, Greg Watkins, Steven Goff, Richard Parton, Philip Bentley and Austin Miller.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or to the charity of your choice.
