Sarah Brakfield 79, of Danville passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Morgan County, Alabama on March 2, 1942 to Leonard and Ruby Long. She is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Lisa Birdsell and Angel Brakfield. She is survived by her husband, John Brakfield; two sons, Steve Brakfield (Brenda) and Richard Birdsell (Stacey); four grandchildren, Zac Brakfield (Monica), Sydney Brown (Hunter), Bryant Birdsell and Adam Birdsell; also two great grandsons, Cruz and Carter Brakfield and one sister, Leldrene Lacy. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
