Sarah Ann Smith Springer , age 82 of Florence, AL passed away Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Home after an extended illness. She was a native of Loretto, TN, Retired Secretary at Powell School a member of North Wood United Methodist Church in Florence and participated in the Homebuilders Sunday School Class and Goodwill Club She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi the IX IOTA Chapter for over 40 Years. Funeral Services will be held at North Wood United Methodist Church on Friday January 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Scott Coats will be officiating. Burial will follow in Restview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday January 26, 2017 at North Wood United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state Friday 1:00 PM -2:00 PM at the Church.
