Funeral service for Sarah Ann Evans, 80, will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Pope officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Evans died on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 7, 1937, in Morgan County to Louis Cline Thompson and Kathryn Isley Thompson. She was employed by Hartselle City School System as a teacher prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Joe Thompson.
