Sarah A. Holcomb, 76, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Sarah was born October 14, 1945, in Cullman County, to Winford and Avillar Hooper Denney.
Mrs. Holcomb was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher and helped often in Vacation Bible School. Sarah loved her church, and her church family, dearly. She loved to study God’s Word and enjoyed worshiping with her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife to her husband, Alfred, for sixty years. She was also an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother. Sarah was actively caring for those she loved just days before her passing. While there is sorrow in Sarah’s passing, there is also joy in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior.
