Sara Wynell Van Leeuwen, age 82, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Clay County, Alabama to Idus L and Lela Jane Shaddix. Mrs. Van Leeuwen retired from the City of Huntsville as a HPD clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents Idus L and Lela Jane Shaddix. She is survived by her son Greg Sexten; daughter Peggy Sexten and her grandchildren Justin Oleson and Sara Brianne Oleson. No services will be held at this time.
