Sara May Wheeles age 88, of Tuscumbia, passed away, Thursday July 07, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday July 09, 2016 from 12-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel the funeral service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Garden. Brother Steve McAllister will be officiating.
Sara Wheeles was preceded in death by her parents Stell and Eris Young and her husband Robert L. Wheeles.
Survivors are sons: Sid Wheeles (Juanita) and Bobby Wheeles (Debbie), daughters: Sandra Draper (Chuck) and Becky Maze (James), 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
Mrs. Wheeles worked as a Seamstress with the Lee Co. and a member of Grace Life Baptist Church.
