Graveside services for Mrs. Sara Hardegree Mulkey age 85 of Lineville will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Springhill Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Acre officiating.
Mrs. Mulkey passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at UAB hospital. Mrs. Mulkey was a graduate of Clay County High School. She went to school to become a surgical O.R. technician where she worked most of her life in the medical field. She was a clay county native but lived in Atlanta, Ga for forty years then moved back to Lineville. Mrs. Mulkey was of Baptist faith.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Haywood, one granddaughter, and one grandson: Christine Jones, David Treadwell IV; a host of nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest Eugene Hardegree Sr., and Thelma Pitts Hargree; her husband Allen Mulkey Jr. Two daughters: Betty Gail Ellison, Kimberly Kay Mulkey. Seven brothers: Ernest Hardegree, Ed Hardegree, John Hardgeree, Bryce Hardegree, Bobby Hardegree, Lamar Hardegree, and Louis Hardegree.
