Sara Frances Payne, 85, of Gurley, AL, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
She is survived by her husband, Norris Micajah Payne, III; daughter, Pamela Dawn Payne Fritz (Michael); twin grandsons, Joseph Payne Fritz (Lindsey Parsons) and Bejamin Micajah Fritz (Emma); great-grandson, John David Fritz; sister, Sandra Groce (Roy); sister-in-law, Linda Rosemeyer (Chris); along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded by her parents, Dona Odessa and Frank L. Shafer; and two sisters, Linda Counts and Dianne Graf.
A receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 12:00-1:00PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with the memorial service following at 1:00PM. Bro. Bill Stone will be officiating.
