Sara Catherine Kidd Guthrie, age 83 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Ridgeview Health Services. Mrs. Guthrie retired from the First National Bank of Jasper with 43 years of service.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. David Byrd officiated.
Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her Father-Leo Kidd; Mother-Lula Black Kidd; Husband-Loal F. Guthrie.
She is survived by her Godson-Terrell A. Martin (Stephanie); Grandchildren-Graham Martin and Drew Martin all of Jasper; Brother-in-law-Charles W. Guthrie (Catherine); Niece-Teressa Rowland (Garry); Nephew-Timothy Guthrie all from Jasper.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Gideons International in her memory.
