Sara Ann Farr Hunt age 79, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 10th from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Reverend James Storie officiating. Sara Ann was a member of First Christian Church. She was a long time member of The Florence Mother Singers and Florence Music Study Club. Mother loved playing the piano and singing in the choir. She was a native of Franklin County and preceded in death by her husband, Edsel “Doc” Hunt; parents, Floyd Jackson (Todd) and Jessie (Jet) Vernon Farr of Russellville. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Grisham (Michael) of Mobile and son, Gregory Rance Hunt (Barbara) of Killen; grandchildren, Lori Grisham Bethea (Britt) of Mobile, Brian Hunt of Flagstaff, Arizona, Jessica Hunt of Mobile, and Kate Hunt of Florence. Great-grandchildren, Maddox Bethea, Briley Bethea, Toby Bethea, and Josephine Hasselton; brother, Wallace Farr (Mary Leen) of Decatur; uncle, Fred Vernon (Betty) of Russellville; Aunt, Frankie Vernon of Decatur.
