Sandra Virginia Johnson, age 72 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Madison Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born October 27, 1948 to Stanley Eugene Liebert and Ruth Elizabeth Saunders Liebert.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson; son, Larry Christopher Johnson (Pamela); daughter, Amanda Johnson; sisters, Deborah Matthews and Barbara Bean; brothers, Stanley Liebert and Lester Liebert; grandsons, Christopher Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Conner Hasting and Cody Hasting; granddaughters, Emily Johnson, Madison Johnson and Hadleigh Johnson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Oakland Baptist Church with Dwight Raburn officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in New Oakland Cemetery.
