Sandra Marie Casto

Age 73 of Portland passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at her home. She was born December 30, 1948 in Waverly, TN to Orman and Nell Marie Davis Dendy, She worked as a nurse before her retirement. Sandra loved sculpting, oil painting and photography. She attended Grace Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orman and Nell Dendy; husband, Cecil Kenneth Casto; sister, Judy Newbern. She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Mike) Abell; grandson, Kenny Abell, all of White House, TN; brother, Johnny Dendy, Hermitage, TN; a host of other family and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Glen Ashworth officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2022 10qm until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
