Sandra Lyle Hudson, 71, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 8th peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer. Sandra was born in Sevierville, Tennessee on July 31st 1952. Sandra spent her life caring for others, retired from Marshall Child Development Center on Redstone Arsenal where she spent many years caring for the children of NASA employees. Sandra enjoyed traveling, reading, Alabama football, card games and most of all just being with her family and friends. Sandra was a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary at both the American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where she had many special friends.

Sandra had a zest for life and would do anything for those she loved. Sandra has survived by her loving mate Richard Randall of 28 years (Christa Watson, David Randall); children, Roy Hudson of Huntsville, Michelle Goustin (Joe); sisters, Betty LeMaster, Janice Kay Renfroe (Calvin); grandchildren, Katie Renfroe, Brottney, Jake, Jay Goustin, and Hayden Watson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Lyle and Connie Lewter Lyle, sister, Angeline Self. Sandra also survived loving and caring for a host of .
We will celebrate the joy Sandra brought to all of our lives with a Celebration of Life.
