Sandra Lue Floyd Edwards, 48, passed away March 12, 2017 at her home. She was born February 20, 1969 to Sammie and Betty Floyd of Tupelo. Sandra attended Tupelo City Schools. She loved fishing with her husband on warm summer days, playing games on her phone and spending time with her family. One of her favorite past times was fully decorating for each holiday. Sandra delivered flowers for Bishop’s Flower Shop until her health prevented her. She was Baptist by faith.
Survivor include her husband of 21 years, William Edwards of Pontotoc; daughters, Mandi Guthrie of New Albany, Courtney Coley (Jesse) of Pontotoc and Ashlee Floyd (Chevus Hall) of Pontotoc; sons, Brandon Floyd (Amy) of Mooreville and Michael Edwards of Shannon; mother; Betty Floyd (Stacks) of Mooreville; sister, Dianne Owens of Amory; brother, Lewis Floyd (Chasity) of Corbin, Kentucky; grandchildren, Sammie Guthrie, Justin Floyd, Carson Floyd, Becky Coley, Richard Coley, Carolina Coley, Remington Hall and Cooper Floyd.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with visitation 11 a.m. until service time. Rev. Merl Floyd will be officiating and the burial will be in Keyes Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Floyd and brother, David Floyd.
Pallbearers will be Michael Edwards, Brandon Floyd, Jesse Coley, Chevus Hall, Tyler Floyd, Chris Sprayberry and Kenneth Parnell.
