Sandra Kay Missildine Sandra Kay Missildine of Harvest, AL passed peacefully to her heavenly home with her family by her side on April 5, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father and mother, Truitt & Mary Frances Johnson, her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ariel & Merle Missildine, and a brother, Tommy Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronnie Missildine, four children and their spouses: Ron & Jennifer Missildine, Randy & Cathy Missildine, Shannon & Sonny Burch, and Sherry & David Alford; 12 grandchildren; Neal Burch, Caleb Missildine, Mary Frances Burch, Parker Missildine, Ethan Alford, Lilli Burch, Rylan Missildine, Anna Kate Alford, Luke Alford, Alora Missildine, Briesa Missildine, and Cheridyn Missildine; two brothers, Jimmy Johnson & Kenny Johnson, many extended family members and a loving, worldwide Christian family.

She was an excellent Bible class teacher of children and especially of Ladies classes and seminars and was dearly loved by those that she taught. She was her husband Ronnie’s faithful partner in their forty years of ministry, being by his side in numerous home Bible studies in all four churches of Christ where they served, as well as all of the ministries of those congregations: Lakewood in Montgomery, AL; Warrington in Pensacola, FL; Brainerd in Chattanooga, TN; and Central in Dalton, GA. She also supported him as an elder’s wife when Ronnie was appointed to serve as a shepherd at the Madison congregation. Sandra and Ronnie traveled together on foreign mission trips including 3 trips to Ukraine, and one each to Jamaica and Exuma.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April, 8th, 2024 at Madison Church of Christ, in Madison, Alabama at 3:00 p.m., a public visitation will be from 1:00 pm. until service time at the church.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Dublin Church of Christ Cemetery located in Montgomery, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Sandra’s memory to the V.P. Black School of Biblical Studies at Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL.
