Sandra Kay Brown ClarkSandra Kay Brown Clark, 69, homemaker and resident of Columbia, died Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

 

Born November 26, 1952 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Brown and the late Verna Mae Johnson Brown. Mrs. Clark was an avid reader and a former employee of Bluegrass Regional Library. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her friends, “The Gang”, and going to yard sales.

 

Survivors include her husband, Danny Mitchell Clark of Columbia; son, Kevin (Dawn) Clark; daughter, Kelly Clark; grandchildren, Jacob Arnold, Isa Clark, Tabitha Thompson, Jennifer (Andrew) Geary, Myles Thompson; great grandchildren, Jaylen Smith, J’Shean Brown, Cyson Brown, A.J. Geary, Stevie Geary; sister, Judy Shouse; and brothers, Larry (Diann) Brown, and Darrell (Brenda) Brown.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Potts.

 

Active pallbearers will be Jaylen Smith, Jacob Arnold, Matthew Brown, Kyle Brown, Roger Brown, Kenny Brown, Greg Shouse, Mark Shouse, and Mike Shouse. Honorary pallbearers include the members of “The Gang”.
