The funeral service for Sandra June Waldrop Daugherty, age 56 of Delta, will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. John Howell, Rev. David Holcombe, and Tammy Power officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Delta Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Daugherty passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her home. A lifelong resident of Clay County, she worked at Robinsons and Southland Manufacturing, and also worked at the Dairy Barn restaurant at Hollis Crossroads. She was a member of Union D Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of almost 38 years, Terry “Frog” Daugherty of Delta; two daughters: April Kolk (David) of Delta, and Krystal Crawford (Cody) of Roanoke; her father, Jerry Mac Waldrop (Missy) of Carrollton, Ga; two sisters: Connie Waldrop of Delta and Tammy Waldrop (Darryl) of Heflin; two brothers: David Waldrop (Angie) of Hollis Crossroads and Eddie Wayne Waldrop (Carissa) of Florida and three grandchildren: Anderson Crawford, McKinley Crawford, and Percy Kolk. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Parker Waldrop.
Pallbearers will be Justin Daugherty, Fred Boyd, Jeromy Harrelson, Destin Boyd, James Bearden, and Shawn Waldrop. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rusty Shiflett and Daniel Henry.
Visitation will be held at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
