Sandra Gayle Rice, age 67, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Rice was born on January 8, 1949 in Athens, Alabama.
Mrs. Rice is survived by her Mother, Ava Lee Vinson of Athens; two daughters, Lisa Middlebrooks (Tim) and Crystal Charles (Bruce) of Athens; two sons, Preston Wade Gordon of Huntsville, and Bradley Scott Appleton (Stacy) of Alabama ; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers, please send money to the American Cancer Society.
