Sandra Gail Southerland Bailey, 75, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born on Saturday, July 15,1950, in Tennessee to the late Mr. Ray Wesley Southerland and Mrs. Bonnie Mae Kanipe.
She lived for 60 years in North Alabama. Gail was member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors and around water as well as going to the beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Johnny Bailey, SR. both of her parents, as well as one sister, Linda Ray Southland.
She is survived by one daughter, Stacey (Thomas) Miller, two brothers: Steve Southerland, Joe Southerland, one sister: Margaret Wisecarver, as well as two grandchildren: Christian Miller as well Alyssa Miller.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14,2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with a Funeral Service beginning directly afterwards at 2:00 PM with Bro. Adam Mikel officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, located in Ardmore, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Piney Chapel Baptist Church.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
