Sandra Gail Bretherick Birchfield, 78, of Florence, passed away February 13, 2025 at North Alabama Specialty Hospital. She was a retired seamstress from Tee Jay’s and a member of Greenhill United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Husband: Johnny Birchfield Son: Greg Bretherick (Donnell) Stepson: Johnny Birchfield II Stepdaughter: Shonda L. Jerkins (Ben) Brother: Danny Liles Grandchildren: Dustin Bretherick, Tyler Bretherick, Brittney Hyde, Natasha White, Cole Birchfield, Ali Atchley, Meral Thomas, Jack Jerkins 10 great grandchildren Preceded in death: Parents: Wesley Zebedee Liles & Lillie Gray Liles Brothers: David Liles, Charles Liles Sisters: Willodean Belew, Carolyn Threet, Delora “Toad” Hendrix, Glenda Crewson Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel, with Trent Salter officiating. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dustin Bretherick, Tyler Bretherick, Austin Liles, Zane Cole, Frankie Stewart, Louis Smith In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Greenhill United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
